Basic

This presentation covers the importance of the reliability of fiber optic network infrastructures to service providers, enterprises, carriers and utilities. Proactive fiber monitoring increases network uptime, improves SLA enforcement all while also reducing CapEx and OpEx. Fiber monitoring can be used to monitor dark fiber networks as well as active fiber links transporting a wide range of transports speeds and protocols and is network equipment agnostic. Additionally, the solution provides security and environmental monitoring via passive optical sensors, which require no power and are immune to RF type interruptions.
