Service providers are changing the way they build their broadband, business and backhaul services networks in an effort to deliver new services and to operate their networks at web scale. Central Office Re-architected as a Data center (CORD) reference architectures using data center networking principles and 10 Gigabit FTTP technologies are being leveraged by progressive service providers to enable rapid services growth and allow massive operational efficiency as they on-board new 10G PON solutions. During this session, ADTRAN will explore web-scale networking benefits and real world examples of how they are afforded by the open, programmable and scalable services framework inherit within a software-defined access (SD-Access) architecture.
